What should I do after I successfully treat low blood glucose (sugar)?

Report low blood glucose to your healthcare team. They may need to adjust your diabetes treatment plan.

Keep track of:

  • What dates and times you had low blood glucose

  • Any changes to your diet or meal schedule

  • Any change to your diabetes medicine plan

  • Any changes to your physical activity

This will help your healthcare team work with you to find the cause of your low blood glucose.

Until then, check your blood glucose more often.
